Assessing Department. We are located in Room 202, Lynn City Hall, 3 City Hall
Square, Lynn, MA 01901. Office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, and 8:30 a.m.
to 12:30 p.m. Friday. Information on how to contact us is available on

Current assessment information is for fiscal year 2009, with an assessment date of January 1, 2008.
Property data is current through June 30, 2009. Ownership information is current through June 30, 2009.
Since the statutory assessment date for fiscal year 2009 is January 1, 2008,
the dramatic changes that have occurred in the real estate market during 2007 and 2008 are only partially reflected
in the FY2009 assessments, as any decline in property values that occurred during 2008 occurred after
the assessment date and were not considered. FY2009 assessments reflect the real estate market as it existed in late 2007.
The real estate market as it existed in late 2008 will be reflected in the fiscal year 2010 assessments, based on a statutory
assessment date of January 1, 2009. Those assessments will be finalized and made available on this site in December.

changes are continually being updated, as are data changes from new

code, and assessed valuation, is available to the general public. Hardcopy
printouts of the listing are available for $100.00 each. A downloadable Excel
