Assessors' Maps Now Available Online The
information on this website is provided as a public service by the City of Lynn
Assessing Department. We are located in Room 202, Lynn City Hall, 3 City Hall
Square, Lynn, MA 01901. Office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, and 8:30 a.m.
to 12:30 p.m. Friday. Information on how to contact us is available on

Current assessment information is for fiscal year 2008, with an assessment date of January 1, 2007.
Property data is current through June 30, 2008. Ownership information is current through June 30, 2008.
Since the statutory assessment date for fiscal year 2008 is January 1, 2007, the dramatic changes
that have occurred in the real estate market during 2007 and 2008 are not reflected in the FY2008 assessments, as
they occurred after the assessment date. FY2008 assessments reflect the real estate market as it existed
in late 2006. The real estate market as it existed in late 2007 will be reflected in the fiscal year 2009
assessments, based on statutory assessment date of January 1, 2008. Those assessments will be available in mid-
November and appear on tax bills issued at the end of December.
Please note that all parcel ID's were modified in the spring of 2005. This was done in conjunction with a remapping
of the City. Old map numbers are no longer in use. The first three character segment of the parcel ID is a prefix
and indicates the map number for the parcel. In general, the rest of the new ID is the same as the old ID, except
that the final three character segment in the old ID was eliminated for all parcels except condominiums.

printouts of the listing are available for $100.00 each. A downloadable Excel
